All electrical/electronic/radio products entering South Korea are subject to '''KC (Korea Certification)''' certification, a mandatory certification scheme that ensures only products certified by accepted certification bodies can enter the Korean market. The scheme verifies safety as well as Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Radio Frequency (RF) requirements when they apply.

== Description == 

The broadcasting and communication equipment conformity assessment system has been implemented according to Article 58-2 of the Radio Waves Act. It is divided into the certification of conformity, registration of compatibility, and interim of conformity.

A party intending to manufacture, sell or import broadcasting and communication equipment must have one of those three certifications.

== RUT300 ==

It is verified that RUT300 has been certificated under Clause 3, Article 58-2 of the Radio Waves Act.
