Customer profile
Elvaco provides open end-to-end solutions for utility metering, aiming to support our customers to develop their sustainable business. They are specialized in energy connectivity and infrastructure, from meters and sensors to cloud-based systems and services.
Challenge
Nowadays metering devices are used basically in every home, office building and any type of establishment that has running water, electricity or any other utility that requires measurements. For many of these situations one would have to physically be next to a metering device to get a read on the measurements.
Solution
The 4G Router RUT950 from Teltonika is used together with Elvaco's Gateway for Fixed Network, CMe3100, to extend its range of use for their customers. The router enables CMe3100 to connect to a receiving system via the mobile network in order to get measurements remotely.
