Product change notifications (PCN) is a way of informing customers of upcoming changes related to Teltonika Networks products. This includes outward appearance adjustments, hardware improvements, changes to package contents, etc. Changes related to a product's firmware are not included in PCNs (click here to see the firmware changelog).

This page stores information regarding changes to the RUT900 device. Below you will find a list of both upcoming and already implemented changes sorted by newest to oldest (top to bottom).

2020.06.19: end of production

Effective December 15th, 2020, it will not be possible to order RUT900 series devices.

Change impact
Risk assessment	Extra stock planning necessary, as it won't be possible to order any quantities after 2020-12-15 All running or upcoming projects, that utilize RUT900, must be reviewed and appropriate action taken
Suggested action taken	You must contact your Teltonika sales manager who will advise you regarding planning orders or best approach for migrating from RUT900.


Acknowledgement of PCN receipt
If no feedback is received within two weeks after the issue date of this notification - Teltonika may accept that this change has been tacitly accepted and can implement the change as indicated above.

2019.06.19: device flash memory change

Effective 2019, week 23, RUT900 routers will be produced with a different type of flash memory.


Change description
Change type	Device flash memory changed
Detailed description	RUT9** series flash memory changes. Old firmware versions will not support new flash memory, meaning that only RUT9XX_R_00.06.02 and newer firmwares will work with updated hardware. Custom firmwares built on previous SDK versions will also not work.
	Change reasons	Reducing product lead times.

All RUT9 **** product codes are affected. No product code changes.

2019.01.22: visual design changes

Effective February, 2019, week 7, RUT900 routers will be produced with significant visual design improvements.

Detailed description	Housing design improved.

	Flat surface mounting possibility integrated. RJ45 socket direction changed. SMA connector positions changed. Sim cards now have dedicated external slots. Top sticker design changes. Housing dimensions (mm): Before: 105.5 (W) x 80 (D) x 45.8 (H) After: 109.5 (W) x 100 (D) x 50 (H) Mounting space requirements (mm): Before: 110 (W) x 145 (D) x 51 (H) After: 110 (W) x 145 (D) x 51 (H)
