Hi, I am Klaus.
I use a RUT850 in my car since February 2022. There it provides
- internet access for passengers via regular WLAN access point functionality
- as a WLAN station it additionally connects to the CarPlay WLAN access point in the car and offers the iPhone connected to the Carplay network a route to the internet.
My contribution to this wiki is an outcome of my configuration solution with the above use case "WLAN internet connectivity for Carplay network": see WIFI WAN connection used as LAN.
