Starting from October 1st 2024, new order codes created will have their own unique EAN codes.
The product identification system is being updated by assigning unique EAN codes to each new order code created from October 1st.

2024.05.15: New PCB revision
Starting from Q3 2024, RUT951 router will be manufactured with updated MAIN and RF PCB revisions.
Starting from Q3 2024, RUT951 router will be manufactured with updated MAIN and RF PCB revisions. The following are the detailed updates made to the MAIN and RF boards:
Added SIM card presence triggers to SoC GPIO
Added shift register clearing circuitry
Added pull-down resistors on pins to address potential issues that may arise when shift registers are in the tri-state high-z state.
Please note that this change will be implemented gradually, throughout a 3-month transitional period starting from Q3, 2024. During this period, your shipments of RUT951 may consist of either the current MAIN and RF PCB or the new one described above.

Previously, during device resets, logs, RMS connection state data, and SIM PIN settings remained unchanged. However, starting with RutOS firmware version 7.07, all devices will uniformly reset logs, RMS connection state data, and SIM PIN settings to factory defaults when using the reset button. Other reset methods, including WebUI, SMS, and others, will remain unimpacted by this change.

The loss of device logs upon utilizing the reset button may disrupt operational records and slow down subsequent troubleshooting efforts.
Failure to set up the SIM PIN post-reset via the reset button may result in SIM card lockout due to repeated incorrect PIN entries, causing service disruption and requiring either SIM replacement or PIN reset.
The device is still visible in RMS post-reset but cannot be accessed. Therefore, re-adding the device to RMS is necessary for continued access.

2023.09.04: Packaging box changes
Starting from Q4 2023, batch 017, the product packaging of RUT951 will be updated with the following changes.

Detailed description
The fibre inserts of each product and its accessories will be replaced with individual cardboard boxes. Of those boxes, the product box will include the Teltonika Networks logo and company information, and accessory boxes will include the accessory name, order code, image, EAN barcode, and QR code. Any empty space in the packaging will be filled with Corrugated fibreboard fillers.These updates are meant to reduce the environmental footprint of our products, with eliminating plastic packaging being the primary focus.
Please note that this change will be implemented gradually, throughout a 4-month transitional period starting from Q4 2023, batch 017. During this period, your shipments of RUT951 may consist of either the current packaging or the new one described above. 2022.08.18: Changes in engraving/labeling
Starting from 2022, week 35, RUT951 routers will be produced with modified bottom engraving/labeling.

The device's unique default password will be added to the bottom engraving/labeling. The formatting for the remaining information on the labeling/engraving will be adjusted, and the Fira font will be used instead of Arial.
