The Norma Oficial Mexicana (Official Mexican Standard), abbreviated NOM, is the name of each of a series of official, compulsory standards and regulations for diverse activities in Mexico. They are more commonly referred to as NOMs or normas. All foreign and Mexican manufacturers, importers, and retailers must apply for NOM approval in order to sell/distribute products in Mexico.

Description

Certain NOMs require companies to obtain for their product(s) a certificate of compliance issued by an accredited certification body. In the case of products manufactured outside Mexico, this certificate must accompany the import documentation at the port of entry.

RUT241 was tested and certified in accordance with the Official Mexican Standard NOM-019-SCFl-1998 "Safety of data processing equipment.", published in the Official Gazette of the Federation of December 11, 1998:

RUT241 Certificate No. NYC-2302C0E15565
