Summary

Internet status is a feature, also known as 'connchecker' which monitors the connectivity status of specified IPv4, IPv6, and DNS addresses. Repeatedly checks the connectivity status at specified intervals and reports changes.

Note: Internet status is additional software on some devices that can be installed from the System → [[{{{name}}} Package Manager|Package Manager]] page.

Status

Field	Value	Description
IPv4 status	Online | Offline | Untracked	Online - address is reachable. Offline - address is unreachable. Untracked - address not provided in the configuration or tracking is disabled.
IPv6 status	Online | Offline | Untracked	Online - address is reachable. Offline - address is unreachable. Untracked - address not provided in the configuration or tracking is disabled.
DNS status	Available | Unavailable | Untracked	Available - DNS is reachable. Unavailable - DNS is unreachable. Untracked - DNS not provided in the configuration or tracking is disabled.

Configuration

Track IPv4	ipv4; default: 1.1.1.1	IPv4 address to be monitored.
Track IPv6	ipv6; default: 2a00:1450:4001:831::200e	IPv6 address to be monitored.
Track domain	domain name; default: dns.google.com	Domain to be checked if alive.
Interval	seconds; default: 60	The time interval in seconds at which the connectivity status should be checked.
