Product change notifications (PCN) is a way of informing customers of upcoming changes related to Teltonika Networks products. This includes outward appearance adjustments, hardware improvements, changes to package contents, etc. Changes related to a product's firmware are not included in PCNs (click here to see the firmware changelog).

2019.09.12: order code changes
Effective October 2019 (transitional period – 1 month) standard order codes for RUT230 will change. All order codes from this category will become obsolete: RUT230 *0****

The order code RUT230 *0**** with UC20-E module will be replaced with order code RUT230 *1**** with UC20-G (Global) module.
RUT230 *0**** order code with UC20-E module supported 3G: B1, B8 2G: B2, B3, B5, B8 frequencies. RUT230 *1**** order code UC20-G module supports Global frequencies: 3G: B1, B2, B5, B8, B19 2G: B2, B3, B5, B8.

If you use smart and/or automated order processing and warehousing systems you must update information regarding RUT230 order code with correct updated order code.

2019.06.19: device flash memory change
Effective 2019, week 33, RUT230 routers will be produced with a different type of flash memory.

RUT2** series flash memory changes.
Old firmware versions will not support new flash memory, meaning that only RUT2XX_R_00.01.07 and newer firmwares will work with updated hardware.
Custom firmwares built on previous SDK versions will also not work.
