AT&T 3G Network shutdown information

From Teltonika Networks Wiki

As of February 22nd, 2022 AT&T clients will no longer be able to access the mobile network through 3G frequencies as they’re being shut down. More and more operators across the globe are completing their 5G infrastructure and closing less used cellular frequencies in exchange to provide the best possible internet surfing experience to the users.

So, what happens to my Teltonika Networks devices?

3G will still be available as an option of technology to use with all other operators, but with AT&T it will no longer be effective.

Firmware for each compatible device will be released to ensure the stability and to fit regulation changes.

What actions do I need to take?

Make sure your devices are updated to following versions in order to successfully continue using AT&T services after February 22nd, 2022:

For RUTOS capable devices: 07.01.2

For RUT9XX legacy users: 06.08.6

For RUT24X legacy users: 1.14.5

Latest firmware versions could be found here

If you have updated your device and it's AT&T version - these devices will go into modem upgrading mode. Banner on top will indicate if the modem upgrade is still in progress or finished.
