IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) is the regulatory agency responsible for the regulation and control of telecommunication equipment in Singapore. It also monitors the use of radio spectrum frequencies to ensure accordance with country specific resolutions. Wireless products, telecommunication terminal equipment, cellular, satellite, and other equipment require approval and certification in Singapore prior to importation and commercialization.

Technical Standards applied

Infocomm Media Development Authority has applied IMDA TS CMT standard for TRB140 device. This Specification defines the minimum technical requirements for Cellular Mobile Terminal (termed “CMT” in this Specification) to be used in the Public Mobile Radio Communication System and services. Standard is based on CE applicable standards such as: EMC, Safety as well as RF and Immunity.
