The UK Conformity Assessment (UKCA) is the UK product marking requirement that is required for products placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), substituting the EU requirements for CE Marking (CE marking will continue to be accepted in Northern Ireland). UKCA marking will indicate that a product placed on the United Kingdom market meets the UKCA Marking requirements.

Description

It applies to all products using the radio frequency spectrum. It has been applicable since 13 June 2016. A 1-year transitional period between this Directive and the now-repealed Radio and Telecommunication Terminal Equipment (R&TTE) Directive (1999/5/EC) ended on 12 June 2017. As of 13 June 2017 only the new RED is applicable.

Standards applied

The conformity with the essential requirements has been demonstrated against the following harmonized standards:

EU-Type Examination Certificate No.: {{{ec_number}}}

Therefore UKCA.png is placed on the product.
