This example application streams some information from the router device. Once it is enabled you should be able to the following things in Cloud of Things Cockpit the following information from your router:

The Cloud of Things allows you to automate your operations easily and effectively. By analyzing the collected data, machines can work more efficiently. This data also enables predictive maintenance, which reduces machine downtime – and improves your cost-benefit ratio. Thanks to data analysis in the Cloud of Things, you’ll save costs in three ways: Predictive maintenance requires fewer personnel, reduces expensive machinery downtime and avoids unnecessary material expenditures.

Mobile and WAN information are sent from “stream” Lua script, while Device information - from stream application. This information (except Device) is being sent to the main Cumulocity server continuously: at 10 seconds interval.
