Template:Networking trb1 firmware downloads legacy upgrade

In order to upgrade the firmware (FW) from {{{name}}}x_R_00.01.06.1 or older to any newer version, please follow these instructions:

  1. Find your device's Product Code. It is on the bottom sticker of the device or on the package.
  2. Depending on the Product Code, download one of these .bin files:
    • For codes beginning with {{{name}}} 0: [[Media:{{{name}}}0_R_00.02.03.2_LEGACY.bin|{{{name}}}0_R_00.02.03.2_LEGACY.bin]]
    • For codes beginning with {{{name}}} 1: [[Media:{{{name}}}1_R_00.02.03.2_LEGACY.bin|{{{name}}}1_R_00.02.03.2_LEGACY.bin]]
  3. Login to your {{{name}}} device and navigate to the System → [[{{{name}}} Firmware|Firmware]] page.
  4. Upload the .bin file as if it were a regular FW file and click the 'Upgrade' button.
  5. Wait a few seconds while the file uploads. Then click the 'Proceed' button in the next page.



After the upgrade is done, you will no longer need to follow these instructions for future upgrades. To upgrade the firmware from TRB14X_R_00.02.03.1 to later versions, simply download a FW file from [[{{{name}}} Firmware Downloads|Firmware Downloads]] and upgrade it as usual.
