Device configuration

The Device configuration option allows you to modify configuration for your selected device(s).

To configure your devices go to the RMS web page, Left sidebar panel, (Management → Devices), click on , expand Configuration submenu, there you will find Device configuration.

The Device configuration function is used to change configuration of devices selected from your device table. You will get different configuration options depending on the device and its firmware version.

Devices you're trying to configure must be Online (), otherwise, the Device configuration option will be grayed out.

Disclaimer

  • This tool is only available to use on devices with Firmware 07.03 and up.
  • Devices must be from the same device series.
  • Also, devices you're going to configure must be on the same version of the firmware: e.g. RUTX_R_00.07.03.2 and RUTX_R_00.07.03.2 can be while RUTX_R_00.07.03 RUTX_R_00.07.03.2 can not be configured simultaneously.

Step by step instructions


  1. Navigate to Devices page under Management.
  2. Select the device(s) that you wish to configure.
  3. Open actions menu
  4. Expand configuration submenu and click on Device configuration.
  5. A configuration window will open, there configure the desired configuration sections and parameters.
  6. Once done, click Save button.
  7. A pop-up window will display configuration progress.

Important!

  • Allow some time for your device(s) to load new settings. It might take some time.
