TSW100 Product Change Notifications

Product change notifications (PCN) is way of informing customers of upcoming changes related to Teltonika products. This includes outward appearance adjustments, hardware improvements, changes to package contents, etc.

This page stores information regarding changes made to the TSW100 device. Below you will find a list of both upcoming and already implemented changes sorted from newest to oldest (top to bottom).

2025.06.25: QSG flyer replacement

Beginning in July 2025, TSW100 devices will come with a new QSG flyer in the packaging.

Detailed description	Starting in July 2025, TSW100 devices will include an updated Quick Start Guide (QSG) flyer in the packaging. This new flyer features multiple languages—English, German, Spanish, French, and Italian—along with a condensed version of the QSG and a QR code/link to the full web version at teltonika-networks.com/QSG_TSW100 Please note that this change will be implemented gradually, throughout a 3-month transitional period starting from July, 2025. During this period, your shipments of TSW100 July consist of either the current design or the new one described above.

2025.05.26: Mass Packaging changes

Beginning in June 2025, the mass packaging for TSW100 will updated with the following changes.

Detailed description	Starting in June 2025, the mass packaging box for the TSW100 will be updated as follows: New box dimensions: 360 × 315 × 157 mm (previously 360 × 315 × 185 mm). Increased shipping quantity: Each packaging box will now contain 26 units instead of the previous 25 units. Individual packaging: Every TSW100 unit will now be packed in an individual box before being placed in the packaging box. The visuals below do not represent the actual product packaging; they are for reference purposes only.

Change reasons	Enhanced Product Protection: Individual packaging ensures better protection during handling and transit. Sustainability & Waste Reduction: Optimized packaging reduces material waste and improves overall environmental sustainability.

2024.12.17: Visual colour housing changes

Beginning in March 2025, TSW100 switch will be manufactured with a different colour housing.

2024.11.22: Device Housing - Engraving/Labeling changes

Starting from December 2024, TSW100 devices will be produced with top and bottoms stickers.

Detailed description	The device will be manufactured with top and bottom stickers instead of engravings due to the thickness of the paint coating on the housing. The information on the stickers will not be affected. Please note that this change will be implemented gradually, throughout a 1-month transitional period starting from December, 2024. During this period, your shipments of TSW100 may consist of either the current design or the new one described above.
Change reasons	Reducing the risk for client to receive lower quality engraving on the housing.

2024.09.18: EAN Code Change

Starting from October 1st 2024, new order codes created will have their own unique EAN codes.

2024.06.19: New hardware revision

Starting from 2024 Q3, TSW100 switch will be produced with new hardware revision. These changes include the use of a different networking chip and transition to PoE alternative A instead of alternative B.

2023.09.25: Product packaging changes

Starting from Q4 2023 TSW100 product packaging will be changed.

2020.08.14: changes in bottom labeling

Effective 2020, week 36, TSW100 switches will be produced with modified bottom labeling/engraving.

Detailed description	The product code will be removed from the bottom labeling/engraving. The formatting for the remaining information on the labeling/engraving will be adjusted. Product code information will also be removed from the QR code. The labeling on the product packaging will stay unchanged.

Change reasons	Placing product code on the product itself is misleading, product code describes what is included in the product equipment package, not in the product itself.

Risk assessment	The exact product code will not be present on the product itself, the exact product code will be found on the packaging box or determined by serial number. This might impact marketing materials due to changing contents of the bottom informational laser engraving.
