RMS Remote Access
Summary
Remote access is a service, which lets you connect directly to the devices (inc. third-party ones), that are connected to Teltonika's equipment using various protocols such as SSH, Telnet, HTTP(S), RDP, VNC, and SFTP.
Overview
By navigating to RMS Connect -> Remote access, you'll be greeted with this screen.
Here, you'll be able to:
- Add new connections
- Search and filter through existing ones using various parameters such as protocol, tag, or company used in connection
- Change how this list will be displayed and refresh the data.
Adding connection
To add a new connection - click
and
, in the pop-up menu you'll be able to create a new direct connection through a Teltonika device.
There, you'll have 2 Options - Auto or manual.
Auto mode:
- Select Auto scan
- Select the Teltonika's device through which this connection will be made
- Click Scan Device to start the scanning process.
- All scanned devices will appear
- Select the IP address and port number of the device that you want to reach
- Assign a name to this connection (e.g., the name of the connected device)(Optional)
- Click the Add button
Manual mode:
- Select Manual
- Select the teltonika device through which this connection will be made
- Assign a name to this connection (e.g., the name of the connected device).
- Enter the IP address of the device connected to the Teltonika equipment.
- Enter the Port number of the device connected to the Teltonika equipment.
- Select the protocol for the service being run on the device.
- Click the Add button

Once the connection is added you will see it in the Remote access window
From here you can:
- Run the connection
- Edit the connection
- Delete the connection
- View device details of this connection
Protocols
In total there are 7 different protocols which can be used for Remote Access:
- SSH
- Telnet
- HTTP/HTTPS
- RDP/VNC
- SFTP
Access history
Access history can be found on the left sidebar, under RMS Connect section.
Here, you'll be able to monitor who accessed your devices using RMS connect services by their access time, and data usage.
In this window you can:
- See the history of all connections that were done using RMS connect
- Choose desired date range
- Filter by company, email, protocol, or by specific remote access connection
- Search for some specific connection record by the email, device name, protocol etc.
- Adjust the table settings to display only the information you want to see in the table
- Refresh the page to list latest records
