Time

General settings

The General settings section lets you select time zone, synchronize the time from GPS and make the device act as an NTP server so that it can provide time synchronization services for other network devices.

Field Value Description
NTP server IP address IP, mac address Device IP/mac address.
Current system time time Current system time.
Time zone time zone; default: UTC The device will synchronize its time in accordance with the specified time zone.
Enable NTP server off | on; default: off This is used to make the device act as an NTP server so that it can provide time synchronization services for other network devices.
Enable NTP config from file off | on; default: off Run NTPD with uploaded configuration file.
NTP configuration file -(interactive button) Warning! This will overwrite your current configuration.
GNSS mode GPS | Galileo | Glonass | BeiDou; default: GPS Select support of certain satellite types.

Advanced settings

Field Value Description
Broadcast off | on; default: off Enables NTP broadcast mode.
Broadcast address ipv4; default: none Specifies the network address where NTP broadcast messages will be sent.
Broadcast interval 8 | 16 | 32 | 64 ......| 2048; default: 8 Broadcast interval in seconds.
Authentication off | on; default: off Enables NTP authentication.
Key type MD5 | SHA1; default: MD5 Defines the type of NTP authentication to be used.
Key string; default: none Specifies the authentication key, a shared secret used between the NTP server and clients.
