Product change notifications (PCN) is a way of informing customers of upcoming changes related to Teltonika Networks products. This includes outward appearance adjustments, hardware improvements, changes to package contents, etc. Changes related to a product's firmware are not included in PCNs (click here to see the firmware changelog).

2023.09.04: Packaging box changes
Starting from Q4 2023, batch 135, the product packaging of RUT955 will be updated with the following changes.

Detailed description
The fibre inserts of each product and its accessories will be replaced with individual cardboard boxes. Of those boxes, the product box will include the Teltonika Networks logo and company information, and accessory boxes will include the accessory name, order code, image, EAN barcode, and QR code. Any empty space in the packaging will be filled with Corrugated fibreboard fillers.These updates are meant to reduce the environmental footprint of our products, with eliminating plastic packaging being the primary focus.
Please note that this change will be implemented gradually, throughout a 4-month transitional period starting from Q4 2023, batch 135. During this period, your shipments of RUT955 may consist of either the current packaging or the new one described above. For inquiries regarding custom order codes, please contact your designated sales representative.

2022.08.18: Changes in engraving/labeling
Starting from 2022, week 35, RUT955 routers will be produced with modified bottom engraving/labeling.

The formatting for the remaining information on the labeling/engraving will be adjusted, and the Fira font will be used instead of Arial. From the device top engraving/labeling, the previously relevant authentication information text will be removed: User/Pass: admin/admin01.

RS232 and RS485 functionality will not be supported with previous firmware versions.
Custom Firmware built on previous SDK versions you will also need RUT9_R_00.07.02 or a newer Firmware version to support RS232/RS485 functionality properly.
