RMS[edit source]

The Remote Management System (RMS) is designed to conveniently monitor and manage all your Teltonika networking devices. The system allows to securely gather status information of your devices and to change their configuration even if the devices do not have public IP addresses.

RMS access can be configured from the SystemAdministrationRMS page.

Public IP[edit source]

If you're using a SIM card that has a Public IP address (refer here for more information), you can reach the router via HTTP or SSH via its WAN IP address.

HTTP access[edit source]

Remote HTTP access can be set up via the SystemAdministrationAccess Control page.

SSH access[edit source]

Remote SSH access can be set up via the SystemAdministrationAccess Control page.

SMS[edit source]

The router can be controlled via SMS messages using SMS utilities rules. SMS can be configured via the ServicesSMS UtilitiesSMS Rules page.

VPN[edit source]

Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) provide multiple flexible options on setting up remote access to the router and its LAN network. For more information on different types of VPNs supported by RUTX14, visit the VPN manual page.

SNMP[edit source]

Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a protocol for network management, used for collecting information from network devices. For more information on SNMP in RUTX14, visit the SNMP manual page.

Modbus TCP[edit source]

Modbus is a serial communications protocol used in communication with various types of industrial electronic devices. For more information on Modbus TCP in RUTX14, visit the Modbus manual page.

MQTT[edit source]

MQTT (MQ Telemetry Transport or Message Queue Telemetry Transport) is a publish-subscribe-based "lightweight" messaging protocol for use on top of the TCP/IP protocol. For more information on MQTT in RUTX14, visit the MQTT manual page

TR-069[edit source]

Technical Report 069 (TR-069) is a technical specification of the Broadband Forum that defines an application layer protocol for remote management of customer-premises equipment (CPE) connected to an Internet Protocol (IP) network. For more information on TR-069 in RUTX14, visit the TR-069 manual page
