The DNV-CG-0339 defines the Environmental Test Specifications for electrical, electronic, and programmable equipment and systems used in demanding maritime environments, like ships and offshore units, ensuring they withstand harsh conditions (vibration, humidity, temperature, salt) through standardised testing for safe, reliable operation and type approval.
