A frequency band is a specific range of frequencies in the radio frequency (RF) spectrum.

Summary

Different countries and network operators use different frequency bands for communication in their respective mobile networks. Therefore, in order to communicate within an operator's network, the mobile equipment to has to support the frequency bands used by that operator.

Devices ordered under different product codes may support different frequency bands. Specifically for RUT230 routers, the eight symbol of the product code indicates the intended region of operation.
